Lyon County Crop Fair

​The Crop Fair was a fun time, because of all the speakers. Naomi Blohm talked a lot about the soon to be uprising of markets. As a chapter we learned a lot about trends of the markets over previous years, and how it will affect or predict the future markets. 

Sioux Empire Farm Show

The Central Lyon livestock judging team split up into groups to judge livestock at the Sioux Empire Farm Show in Sioux Falls, SD. There were two classes of market steers, Simmental heifers, market hogs, crossbred gilts, and more. This competition served as a learning experience for us as a livestock judging team.
