Supervised Agricultural Experience

At the Central Lyon FFA Chapter, all members are required to do a Supervised Agricultural Experience project (SAE). Having an SAE can develop new relationships, build character, and strengthen your abilities to work efficiently for your future.

Skills, Comprehension, and Knowledge:
When dealing with animals, especially in the swine industry, there are a lot of people who struggle to understand the ethical side of how to treat animals. That not only goes with large operations like ours, but also even just consumers. My job is to make sure that I am doing my job to the best of my abilities, and try to educate others about the importance of how to treat animals.
